What you earn per player
What you earn depends on the tournament — and for overseas tours, on whether you travel as coach. Oakham UK is a simple flat rate. Overseas tours pay £100 per player you recruit, rising to £200 per player for every player you recruit if you travel with the squad as coach.

02 — Travelling coach rate
How the £200 rate works
The higher £200 rate rewards Representatives who commit to travelling with and coaching their squad on an overseas tour. Here's exactly how it applies.

If you travel with your squad as coach, manager or designated representative, you earn £200 for every player you recruit — there's no minimum number required.

Overseas squads are made up of 14 players. If you haven't recruited enough players to fill a squad yourself, GCS will match you with another travelling coach, or you can team up with one you already know, to make up the numbers between you.

Each travelling coach is paid £200 per player they personally recruited, regardless of how the rest of the squad is made up.

A Representative who fills places but does not travel is paid £100 per player, regardless of how many players they recruit.
03 — Worked example
Overseas squad — 14 players
Three representatives contribute to filling a 14-player overseas squad. Coach A and Coach B travel; Rep C does not.

How it works: Each Representative is paid based on the players they personally recruited. Coach A and Coach B are both travelling, so all 12 of their recruited players are paid at £200 — there's no minimum number needed to qualify. Between them they're 2 players short of a full squad of 14, which is where Rep C's 2 players (paid at the standard £100 rate, as they're not travelling) make up the numbers.

GCS can provide an additional local support coach if required. Costs and availability advised on request.
05 — Payment terms
When you get paid
Commission is payable upon completion of the tournament.
No commission is payable for cancellations, withdrawals, or unpaid player balances.
All payments are made within 30 days of the tournament end date.
Any commission query must be raised in writing within 60 days of it becoming payable.
Commission rates may vary by tournament and must be agreed in advance. Additional tournaments can be added by written addendum.
